For the side air inlets above the side-skirts, specific lattice inserts are included, which make cleaning the ducts much easier because gross dirt, such as tire rubber abrasion, is already stopped at the easily accessible entrance into the purge air duct.

Particles such as small stones and abraded rubber tire fragments enter the side air inlets during every circuit. In order to facilitate their cleaning, these specific mesh inserts have been developed to keep gross particle contamination at the readily accessible entrance to the purge air duct.
